Pickles

Sayaka
She talked about pickles.There are many vegetables in pickles.Cucumber,onion,cauliflower,cherry and so on. They are seasoned sugar and vineger. Pickles has two types. One is sweet taste,and another is not sweet taste. Citric acid and vitaminB of pickles are very match! She used a lot of gesture!

Risa
She talked about anchovy. Anchovy is made from Engraulis Japonica. Anchovy is so salty and it was made in Italy and Spain. Anchovy is often used in Western dishes. I want to eat it once. Her eye contact was very nice!

Shiho
She talked about "Takuann". In Edo period,people always eat 2 pieces. This is because 1 piece is
"Hitokire(1切れ)" in Japanese and the word means "Kill person". 3 pieces are "Mikire(3切れ)" in Japanese and the word means "Cut up my stomach". By the way,there are"Takuann sandwiches" in Shiga. She used a list. So I could understand easily.

Saki Konomi
She talked about "Takana". They include dietary fiber,carotene,vitaminK and so on. But Takana are salty. So we had better not to eat them so much.Saki's mother often makes Takana dishes. Her eye contact was so good!

Shuko
She talked about "Shibaduke". Shibaduke is a pickles of Kyoto in Japan. There are eggplant,
cucumber,Japanese ginger,ginger,shiso and so on. Shibaduke prevents food poisoning.Her eye contact was very nice!

Ai
She talked about "Naraduke". Naraduke includes oriental pickling melon,cucumber,Japanese radish and so on.The vegetables are pickled sake lees. Also,there are Naraduke of water melon and persimmon. Her large voise was so good!

Chika
She talked about Kimch. Kimch includes Chinese cabbage,garlic,seafood,red pepper and so on. Kimch was selected "World Five Healty Food" in America. Her eye contact was so good!

Yui
She talked about "Umeboshi". They are made from plum,salt,leaves of shiso. Umeboshi is so sour and salty. So,we should not eat them two over in a day. But Umeboshi has a lot of nutrients.
Also, Umeboshi is good for digest because it stimulate the secretion of saliva. She used a picture!

Our group:Noodles

Saori
She talked about Chinese noodles.
It came in Edo era and it became popular in Taisyo era.
Chinese noodle's soup is most important.There are many kinds of soup.
Her gesture was so good!

Mayu Kawabata
She talked about spaghetti.
There are many kinds of thickness and they have a variety of their name.
She used some pictures.It was so nice!

Mayumi
She talked about bean starch noodles.
It is used in salad,soute,nabe,and so on.
It is made from beans.But its calorie is not so low.
Her gesture was so good!

Yuuki
She talked about Udon.
Hakata Udon is characterized by "dashi".
Musashino Udon is hardening.
Hippari Udon is ate in Yamagata and Natto and mackerels on the Udon.
She searched a lot of things of Udon,so I could understand it deeply.

Megumi
She talked about Champon.
Champon means "scrabble".
It is  local food of Nagasaki,and it based Chinese noodles.
Her eye contact was so good!

Chika
She talked about Chinese noodles.
It is popular as national dish as same as curry and rice in Japan.
A first man who ate Chinese noodles is Mitsukuni Tokugawa.

Our group's thema is Season food of Winter

Natsuki
She presented about "Nabe".
There are a lot of types.Kimchi nabe,Tomato nabe,giblets nabe, and so on.
Her gesture was good.

Juri
She presented about sweet potato.
It has many nutrients and dietary fiber.
Her pronunciation was good.

Ikumi
She presented about spinach.
It is one of Green Yellow vegetables.
Her voice was good.

Mayu Sugimoto
She presented about pumpkin.
There are Western pumpkin and  Japanese pumpkin.
She used a picture.So I could understand easily.

Fumika
She presented about "Odenn"
Most popular ingredient is Japanese radish,second is egg,third is konnyaku.
She used a picture.So I could understand easily.

Natsumi Matsuda
She presented about Japanese radish,Chinese cabbage,and burdock.
Chinese cabbages of cold season are sweetness apper.
Her eye contact was good.

Momoko
She presented about "Oshiruko".
It is made from adzuki beans and sugar.
It was salty in Edo period.Now,it is so sweety.
Her gesture was good.

Yuki
She presented about strawberry.
It is healthy because it can prevent cancer and it has effect of beautiful skin.

French christmas food
Buche de Noel is cake which  looks like tree.

Canadian eat turkey,salad,mashed poteto,soup,and so on.

Finnish eat pork seasoning ginger and cannamon.

World delicacies

Ikumi Hadano
She presented about Thailand's delicacies.
Thai eat caterpillar fry,eggs of red ant soup,crocodile.
Crocodile's meat is low calorie and high protein. Its taste is like a pork.
Her presentaition was detailed.I could understand Thai's delicacies.

Risa Asoshina
She presented about Malaysian delicacies.
Malaysian eat durians. Its taste is like a cream cheese! Also, it has a lot of minerals and vitamins.
Durians are said "a most strong smell of fruits".
Her detailed presentation help me to khow about Malaysian delicacies.

Yurina Shukuwa
She presented about Cambodian delicacies.
Cambodian eat fried spiders. Its taste is between chicken and cod.
Cambodian season them with sugar,salt,and garlic.
She talked with loud voice,so I was easy to understand.

Mizuho Sakaguchi
She presented about Australian delicacies.
Australian eat kangaroo,crocodile, honey ants.
Honey ants are often ate by aborigine.Honey ants save honey in their bottom.
She talked with some pictures. They help me to understand her presentation.

Shion Kosaka
She presented about French delicacies.
French eat foie gras,truffle,caviar,escargot,and meat of rabbit.
Meat of rabbit looks like a chicken.
She examined details of French delicacies.So,I could khow many delicacies of France.

Rika Sasaki
She presented about Italian delicacies.
Italian eat uncured ham of tuna,smoked tuna,and grub cheese.
People must be careful when they eat grub cheese because grubs are jumping from Cheese.
She expounded some English word that we can't understand in Japanese.
So, it help me to understand easily.

She presented about Japanese delicacies.
Japanese eat urchin,dried mullet roe, salted entrails of sea cucumbers,and mustard lotus roots.
Dried mullet roe is ovary of bora,and salted entrails of sea cucumbers are sea cucumber's bowels.
She expounded some English word that we can't understand.

Shuko Toshima
She talked about Pumpkin
Pumpkin birthed in America. They are usually ate Winter solstice in Japan.
