Pickles

Sayaka
She talked about pickles.There are many vegetables in pickles.Cucumber,onion,cauliflower,cherry and so on. They are seasoned sugar and vineger. Pickles has two types. One is sweet taste,and another is not sweet taste. Citric acid and vitaminB of pickles are very match! She used a lot of gesture!

Risa
She talked about anchovy. Anchovy is made from Engraulis Japonica. Anchovy is so salty and it was made in Italy and Spain. Anchovy is often used in Western dishes. I want to eat it once. Her eye contact was very nice!

Shiho
She talked about "Takuann". In Edo period,people always eat 2 pieces. This is because 1 piece is
"Hitokire(1切れ)" in Japanese and the word means "Kill person". 3 pieces are "Mikire(3切れ)" in Japanese and the word means "Cut up my stomach". By the way,there are"Takuann sandwiches" in Shiga. She used a list. So I could understand easily.

Saki Konomi
She talked about "Takana". They include dietary fiber,carotene,vitaminK and so on. But Takana are salty. So we had better not to eat them so much.Saki's mother often makes Takana dishes. Her eye contact was so good!

Shuko
She talked about "Shibaduke". Shibaduke is a pickles of Kyoto in Japan. There are eggplant,
cucumber,Japanese ginger,ginger,shiso and so on. Shibaduke prevents food poisoning.Her eye contact was very nice!

Ai
She talked about "Naraduke". Naraduke includes oriental pickling melon,cucumber,Japanese radish and so on.The vegetables are pickled sake lees. Also,there are Naraduke of water melon and persimmon. Her large voise was so good!

Chika
She talked about Kimch. Kimch includes Chinese cabbage,garlic,seafood,red pepper and so on. Kimch was selected "World Five Healty Food" in America. Her eye contact was so good!

Yui
She talked about "Umeboshi". They are made from plum,salt,leaves of shiso. Umeboshi is so sour and salty. So,we should not eat them two over in a day. But Umeboshi has a lot of nutrients.
Also, Umeboshi is good for digest because it stimulate the secretion of saliva. She used a picture!
